City of Lubbock Vital Statistics Office to be Closed Wednesday, August 14th

A City of Lubbock office will be closed next week.

The City’s Vital Statistics Office, which handles birth and death records, will be closed on Wednesday, August 14^th, meaning that birth and death records will not be available that day.

The Vital Statistics staff will host a Regional Vital Statistics Conference in Lubbock that day.

City and County registrars from across the region will be in attendance.

The Vital Statistics Conference, which will be held at the Holiday Inn at 3201 South Loop 289, will provide a learning experience for hospital and birthing center staff, midwives, local registrars, county clerks, and more.

Full services at the Vital Statistics Office, which is located at Lubbock City Hall at 1625 13th Street, will resume Thursday, August 15^th.
