City Of Lubbock Now Accepting Applications For Boards And Committees
If you are looking to get more involved in the decisions being made at City Hall and want to serve your community, you have a chance to do so now. The City of Lubbock announced this week that they are accepting applications for several boards and committees. The term for the boards will begin on June 1.
According to a press release this week, the following boards have openings:

- Audit and Investment Committee
- 1 Citizen Positions
- Board of Health
- 3 Citizen Positions
- Keep Lubbock Beautiful Advisory Committee
- 5 Citizen Positions
- Junked Vehicle Compliance Board
- 2 Citizen Positions
- Lake Alan Henry Board of Appeals
- 1 Lake Alan Henry Property Owner Position
- 1 Lubbock Citizen and Lake Alan Henry Property Owner Position
- 1 Citizen Position
- Parks and Recreation Board
- 3 Citizen Positions
- Public Transit Advisory Board
- 2 Citizen Positions

Applications must be submitted by January 18 and you can apply online at mylubbock.us. The City of Lubbock also asks that you submit a resume to ocs@mylubbock.us.
