Chuck DeVore on New Texas Senate Rules [VIDEO]

On Friday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Chuck DeVore talked with Chad about the changes in rules for the Texas Senate.

Among the rules modifications is to the "Two-Thirds Rule". Asked how this change will the people of Texas, DeVore said,

It allows the Senate to produce more legislation earlier in the session, and send it over to the House, and see what the House is going to do with it, rather than having a whole bunch of legislation later on, and then reducing the leverage that the Senate would have over the House, in seeing whether or not they would consider the Senate legislation and pass it.

About the new Senate, DeVore said,

I think it's the most conservative senate in Texas History.
