Census 2020 Kickoff Forum To Be Held Thursday

The 2020 Census is coming up and the information gathered from the census will impact Lubbock for years to come.

The Complete Count LBK Committee will be hosting a kickoff event on Thursday, January 23rd from 6-7 p.m. at the Texas Tech International Cultural Center located at 601 Indiana Ave.

During the one hour event, residents will learn about the 2020 Census process, why the data is gathered, and how that data will be used to determine federal funding, redistricting, and more.
