VIDEO: 24 People Banned for Life After Massive Fight At Carnival Cruise Terminal in Texas

This is not the ideal way of ending a vacation. In fact, getting banned for life from a cruise ship seems like it is a pretty hard thing to accomplish, especially on the final day of the cruise, but 24 people recently found out, it can happen.

A massive fight broke out in the Carnival Cruise Terminal in Galveston, Texas on April 26 according to multiple reports. A group of passengers in the customs area of the of the terminal started shoving past barriers where they were supposed to be picking up luggage.

The passengers had just been on board the Carnival Jubilee. You can see video of the fight below.

Texas Cruise Terminal Fight Leads To Travel Bans

According to Chron.com, some travelers who had been on board the Jubilee were not too pleased with what had gone on during their vacation while others reported that the fight that happened inside the cruise terminal had actually started on the ship's basketball court.

Multiple outlets reported the fight was a continuation of an earlier incident that had started at the ship's basketball court. One person who was apparently on the cruise later commented on Facebook, "Yep this was the most ghetto cruise I’ve ever been on; let’s just say we won’t be doing Carnival anytime in the near future. It was beyond ridiculous."

Chron.com also reported that the Port of Galveston Police "arrested and charged one individual with injury to a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual". The same story reported that a man from Chicago "exchanged words" with an elderly man and the elderly man was push down to the ground.

Carnival responded to the incident and said that those 24 people that had been involved in the fight will no longer be allowed on Carnival.

"Meanwhile, we will not tolerate such behavior and 24 people have been placed on our Do Not Sail list," Carnival's statement added. "They can go on another cruise line if they want but are never welcome back with us."

Sounds like a good idea.
