Buddy Holly Center To Host Songwriting Camp In June

If you have a child interested in music and and writing music, the Buddy Holly Center has a great camp coming up for them. Songwriting Camp is hosted by the Buddy Holly Center and is a 5-day camp beginning on Monday, June 24th and it's for kids ages 12-16. According to a press release, students will learn to write and perform their own music.

Under the direction of professional musician, Robin Crawford, students will learn how to write and perform their own, original songs. This five-day camp will equip participants with all the fundamentals of songwriting necessary to start a new musical work, or complete something already started. Songwriting Camp is June 24-28th from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. The cost is $75 and open to kids 12-16 years old. There are a limited number of scholarships available.
