Lubbock Police have been investigating suspicious death since Monday evening. A body  that police have now identified was found Monday evening in Northwest Lubbock.

The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is investigating a body that was found inside a home in Northeast Lubbock Monday evening. The body has been identified as 63-year-old Alvin Davis.

Just after 5:00 p.m. on Monday police discovered Alvin's body in the 2700 block of East 3rd Street according to KAMC.

According to Lubbock Police, the investigation is on-going. KFYO will update this story as more information is released.
