Former Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke has announced that he is dropping out of the 2020 Presidential Race.

On Friday, November 1st, O'Rourke tweeted that his "service to the country will not be as a candidate or as the nominee." See the full tweet below.

O'Rourke's advisers have said that proceeding in the race could have meant making cuts to staff in order to pay for advertising, as well as other measures, to compete in the early primary and caucus state.
