I love when people come together to prepare meals for a sick neighbor. It's a great relief to both the neighbor and their family that they won't have to worry about cooking for a while. However, this story about a sick reverends wife takes this kind sentiment way too far.

The members of the Crystal Cathedral in Orange County, California were asked to prepare meals for the reverend's sick wife, which would be delivered to her via the family's personal limousine drivers. Many members are outraged, saying that if the family can afford limo drivers, they can certainly afford food. And it gets even better.

The church has recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. And it is suspected that the reverend and his family may have taken funds from the church in order to give themselves large salaries and other benefits while the rest of the church struggles with financial issues. So, we have a family that supposedly steals money from the church now stealing food from their congregation. It's bad enough that they're taking advantage of the generosity of the church, when they clearly have the means to provide for themselves. But if the claims of the bankruptcy case are true,  it makes their request that much greedier and that much worse. Hopefully the truth will come out and this family will get what they deserve.
