Saturday night, after the Houston Astros 7-3 loss to the Texas Rangers, the Astros placed second baseman Jose Altuve on the 10-day Disabled List with a right knee injury.

The Astros infield is already shorthanded with shortstop Carlos Correa also on the DL. Tyler White will most likely be recalled from AAA Fresno on Sunday, since he can play 1B, 2B and 3B. In addition, Tony Kemp is also on the roster and he can play second base plus all three outfield positions.

While Altuve and Correa are both out, the Astros will most likely use the following alignments for their infield: 1B Yuli Gurriel, 2B Tony Kemp, SS Marwin Gonzales, 3B Alex Bregman or 1B Gurriel, 2B Gonzales, SS Bregman and 3B J.D. Davis or Tyler White.

On Sunday, the Astros wrap up a three-game series against the Texas Rangers and then start a series at the Seattle Mariners on Monday.  Don't forget you can listen to Houston Astros Baseball on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan.
