What time is it? Because it feels like 3:30 p.m. in 1993.

I've just gotten home from school, grabbed a snack (most likely a cheese/pickle/mustard sandwich because I'm a freak) and I've settled in on the floor between the couch and the coffee table to watch the best block of programming that ever existed on TV. With titles like Tiny Toons, Batman: The Animated Series, and, of course, Animaniacs, life is simple, hilarious, and beautifully animated.

After over 20 too long years, Animaniacs is back, baby, and just as meta and irreverent as ever. It still has my favorite sub plot characters of all time: Pinky & the Brain. And now I can so proudly say that my darling friend was key to its creation.

Native Lubbockite Will Terrell is a prop designer Animaniacs. He's worked on tons of animated series, including New Looney Toons, Scooby Doo! Shaggy's Showdown, and SpongeBob SquarePants, but now he's working on MY show, and that's super special to me.

I highly recommend checking out Warner Brothers and Warner sister, Dot, on Hulu. And if you want to grow up to be a fabulous animator someday, be sure to subscribe to Will's YouTube channel, which is full of fantastic tutorials.

Thank you, Will, for bringing 1993 back to us. We could use some early 90s simplicity these days.
