Andrea Rushing of Junior League of Lubbock Talks Holiday Happening on Lubbock’s First News [AUDIO]

On Thursday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Andrea Rushing from the Junior League of Lubbock joined Chad and Rex in studio to talk about the upcoming 32nd annual Holiday Happening.

This year's Holiday Happening will take place Wednesday, November 16th at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center and will continue through November 20th. Rushing said that this year will introduce a new event: "PJ's for Pop Tarts," where children are encouraged to come see Santa Claus in their pajamas and bring a box of Pop Tarts. The Pop Tarts will go towards the Food For Kids program, which is one of the Junior League of Lubbock's main projects. There will also be many other events during the show, including many opportunities to shop and dine.
