Thursday afternoon, the agenda was posted for the Lubbock Electric Utility Board's special meeting to be held on Monday, November 4.

Three items, in addition to an Executive Session, were posted on the agenda.  They are:

Regular Session
5. Discuss and take action regarding modifications to the Lubbock Power & Light Tariff.
6. Discuss and take action regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties of the General Counsel.
7. Discuss and take action regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties of the Director of Electric Utilities.

The Director of Electric Utilities is Dr. Gary Zheng, CEO of Lubbock Power & Light.  Electric Utility Board member, Marc McDougal earlier on Thursday said Zheng's continued employment would be discussed at the meeting.

Meanwhile, the General Counsel for LP&L is Todd Kimbrough who was hired by LP&L back in September.

The special EUB meeting will take place Monday, November 4 at 2p in the Basement Conference Room A of the Lubbock Power & Light headquarters at 1301 Broadway.
