AAA Texas Says Lubbock Gasoline is the Cheapest in the State
The most recent AAA Texas Gas Watch Report shows gas prices tick upward to an average of $1.99 per gallon across the state.
That’s a six cent increase over the week of Jan. 24, but still 28 cents lower than the national average of $2.27.
AAA has named Lubbock as the city with the cheapest average gas price in Texas at $1.90 per gallon, with some local gas stations showing prices as low as $1.78.
The most expensive gas in Texas at $2.45 can be found just two hours south in Midland.
