A Big Crowd Gathers for Lubbock’s First Lululemon, Now Open in Kingsgate South

What a crowd at today's grand opening for Lubbock's first Lululemon store, in the Kingsgate Center South, next to Pei Wei at 4210 82nd Street.

We stopped in to see how the store looked and we were told we just missed the even bigger crowd that was lined up out the door earlier this morning. When we were there (around noon), things were still very busy with a long line at the cash register.

They had an '806' feature wall and a Texas map featured behind the cashier stand. Plus, they served up some lemonade with a welcome sign. We found a great assortment of everything active wear.

Lululemon is an international success. They have over 400 stores across the country and around the world, and offer quality athletic gear and yoga wear for men and women. Welcome to Lubbock, Lululemon.
