3 Dead, 3 Injured in Central Texas Crash

SPICEWOOD, Texas (AP) — Authorities say three people are dead and three seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Central Texas.

According to the Pedernales Fire Department, one of the vehicles collided with the side of the other on Texas Highway 71 near Spicewood, northwest of Austin.

One man died at the scene, and two others died after being taken to area hospitals. Emergency services in Austin say two people have life-threatening injuries.
