University Medical Center Ranked One of Best Places to Work In Texas

University Medical Center was recently ranked in the May issue of Texas Monthly.

According to the Texas Association of Business, the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group, the UMC Health System is one of the best places to work in Texas.

Home to more than 500 employees, UMC has been ranked third among 25 other companies in the large company category.

UMC has also been ranked among the top three companies to work for in Texas for the past seven years, and was ranked No. 1 for the year of 2013.

UMC was recognized for various programs for its employees, such as the inclusive culture initiative called UMC Includes Me, an end-of-year-bonus program for its full and part-time employees and employee incentives for suggestions that improve safety and quality.
