Two men formerly from the Lubbock area have pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.

23-year-old Garrett David Blair, formerly of Lubbock, pleaded guilty to one count of receiving child pornography Thursday, after admitting in October 2009 to knowingly and intentionally downloading child pornography onto his computer.

In an unrelated case, 41-year-old Ronnie Craig Lance, formerly of Wolfforth, has pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography. He has also admitted to downloading the sexually explicit images of minor females onto his personal computer.

Both Blair and Lance remain on personal recognizance bond, and face a sentence of not less than 5 years or more than 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and a lifetime of supervised release.

These cases were brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative by the Department of Justice.
