Two Hospitalized in Early Morning Brawl

More information has been released in an early morning shooting in the Depot District.

The altercation happened at 2:00 this morning at Klusoz, where one man was assaulted and another shot in the leg.

23 year old Gabriel Ramirez was struck with a blunt object by several suspects inside the club and lost consciousness.31 year old Pedro Alcorte, a bystander, was leaving the club when he was shot in the leg.

Both were taken to UMC, with Ramirez suffering multiple cranial injuries. Alcorte’s gunshot wound was non-life threatening. The Lubbock Police Department is still investigating, and no arrests have been made as of yet.
