The Lady Raiders led coast-to-coast against Kansas Wednesday at the United Supermarkets Arena, earning a big 89-72 victory over the last-place Jayhawks.

After a 22-7 first quarter, the Lady Raiders kept their distance, stretching their lead to 27 in the 3rd quarter before the Jayhawks made a feeble run in the 4th to close the gap.

Five Lady Raider reached double-digits, with Lexi Gordon and Andrayah Adams dropping in 19 points apiece. Gordon also had nine rebounds and six assists in a well-rounded effort. Brittany Brewer added 18 points and four blocks to the totals, and Chrislyn Carr and Alexis Tucker adding 13 and 10, respectively.

The Lady Raiders are now 4-7 in conference play with another winnable game against evenly matched West Virginia on the schedule for Saturday.
