It's October and everyone is getting ready for Halloween by buying candy and costumes but you can't forget about the pumpkins but you might buy two this year.
On October 22nd through the 25th, the trails in the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum will be lined with hundreds of jack-o-lanterns for Parks and Recreation's 12th Annual Pumpkin Trail.
Nancy Neill from Lubbock Parks and Recreation joined Tom Collins and Laura Mac on Lubbock’s First News to talk about the annual Pumpkin Trail beginning Thursday October 15, 2015 at the Lubbock Arboretum.
Neill said that there will be a huge amount of pumpkins and jock-o-lanterns on display, and there is still time to carve and enter. Pumpkins may be entered by civic groups, offices, families, or anyone else who would like to bring them.
Tuesday on Lubbock's First News, Nancy Neil of Lubbock Parks and Recreation described the Halloween-themed event to take place this month and called for more pumpkin donations.
