The Texas Lottery announced changes to the game that went into effect on Saturday.
From the Texas Lottery:
"Starting jackpots for the multi-state game will more than double from the current $15 million to $40 million and the ticket price will increase from $1 to $2 per play...

John Wines of Roswell New Mexico bought a scratch off lottery ticket and won $500,000 dollars. However, the New Mexico Lottery says the ticket was a misprint and refuses to give Wines a cent.
