The Council also approved a new roof for the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center and heard a presentation from the Board of Health regarding fracking within the City limits.

The Lubbock City Council will meet Tuesday evening, and will consider two annexation items, transferring City land for a performing arts center, and will hear a presentation regarding oil and gas fracturing within the City limits.
