In a regular meeting by the High Plains Underground Water Conservation District Board of Directors on Tuesday, June 8th, over $350,000 was approved in funding for water-related research and education projects.
She explained that at halfway through their third week of school, they have about 70% of students coming into school at 20,000 kids, and she said that, "that has gone extremely smoothly."
The unemployment rate continues to decline in Texas, but the unemployed are still struggling. That could soon change though, with Gov. Abbott applying for federal funding.
