With the South Plains and a good portion of Texas having already experienced a day of snow and freezing temperatures, even more cancellations and delays are on the horizon.

Lubbock-area schools will see delayed openings on Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 due to inclement weather.

As of 8 a.m. in Lubbock County on Tuesday, Oct. 27th, it was 25 degrees outside with icy roads causing multiple delays and school closures.

With a Winter Weather Advisory set to continue for most of the South Plains until 6 a.m. Wednesday, some school districts have announced delays or cancellations.
