While some bars and breweries in the state have been able to reopen, most remain closed.

"It's taken its toll on people emotionally and socially. And of course, the business community, all we're trying to do is get back open and generate business," McBride said.

"The entire industry, more or less, was shut down because of a few bad actors," Eddie said.
