Bobby Cox, owner of Pheasant Ridge Winery, joined The Chad Hasty Show on Friday to talk about their Christmas Eve event tomorrow (Saturday, December 24, 2016), bringing the German Christmas tradition of Glühwein, or hot spiced wine to the South Plains.

The event begins around noon and will last until about 7:00 p.m. Cost is $5.00 per cup. For those that would like to their own Glühwein, kits with spices and wine will also be available for purchase.

About the event, Cox said,

We're reviving an old German tradition of hot-spiced wine, or Glühwein, and we've got a recipe and we'll have a nice big pot of it, and we can sit and talk and look at the clouds and enjoy some wine.
