Patrick Svitek: Expect Abbott To Ramp-Up Efforts For Special Session Agenda [INTERVIEW]

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Patrick Svitek from the Texas Tribune joined Chad to discuss the special session of the Texas Legislature currently underway in Austin.

About the Governor's strategies for having all of the items on his agenda addressed by the legislature, Svitek said,

I do think that he has defiantly approached this special session with a more aggressive posture, and I think there will be a willingness to call out inaction in either chamber if we get deep into this special session, maybe a week from now, or week and a half from now, and there's not serious movement on some of the items he cares about.
