Dave Farrow, two-time Canadian Guinness World Record Holder and Memory Coach, joined Lubbock's First News to discuss memory techniques.

Farrow was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia as a child, but found a way to overcome those obstacles.

Farrow demonstrated a memory technique to Collins and Mac and discussed how students could use them, calling the brain "very flexible." It isn't just about genetics, Farrow said.

"Just as easy as that is what we get with college students and high school students to memorize their definitions," said Farrow. "They'll memorize the term and then the four or five different points that are later on in the definition."
