Last week in a since-deleted tweet, Khavon Moore said that he was "100% healthy" and that he was waiting on his time.

That health is clearly not there according to the program's standards, however, because Moore hasn't entered a game since the Red Raiders played Iowa State in Lubbock.

The Khavon Moore tweet just elevated growing unrest on social media among the fanbase wondering where the heck Moore was and why he isn't playing. On February 7th, Beard told the media that it hasn't been easy, but Moore was likely headed for a redshirt.

Today, the basketball program released an update confirming that Khavon Moore will not play in the 2018-19 season and will try to get a medical hardship for his two-minute stint earlier in the year.

The entire press release was short and sweet: "The Texas Tech men’s basketball program has announced that freshman Khavon Moore will not play in any remaining games this season and will seek a medical hardship."

I don't know that this answers all of the questions, but it does answer the big one. Will Khavon Moore play for Texas Tech this season? No.

Now, the speculation turns to if Moore and Coach Chris Beard can work through their miscommunications in an age where players transfer for smaller problems than this.
