Mackowiak: Firing Mueller Would Likely Cause Constitutional Crisis [INTERVIEW]
Monday on The Chad Hasty Show Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined the show to discuss the latest news and politics from Washington, D.C. and Texas.
Mackowiak and Hasty talked about the recent bombings in Austin, as well as President Trump, Robert Mueller and the Special Council investigation.
While discussing rampant speculation that President Trump may fire Mueller, Mackowiak said,
I just think that Republicans on the hill do not believe that firing Mueller under any circumstances is acceptable, and it would cause, I think, a constitutional crisis unlike anything we've seen certainly since the days of [President Richard] Nixon.
