Despite negative comments offered at hearings, the Commissioners approved a pay raise of up to 42 percent for some officials on Monday, September 8, 2014.
County Judge Tom Head, who did not support the raise, received a raise of 42 percent from $77,450 to $109,925 yearly.
Commissioners Mark Henrich, Patti Jones, Bill McCay and Bubba Sedeno all voted in favor of pay increases for themselves.
