Something about the days getting longer, the sun shining, and the grass growing always makes me feel better. This increase in motivation also means that I’m ready to take on more projects around the house and spend much more time outside. So, all of this combines into the pursuit of my annual salsa garden.  

I've been growing my own salsa garden for a few years now with a mix of great success and occasional failures. I definitely wouldn’t consider myself a pro and have learned a lot from more experienced gardeners in my life, but I figured putting the information I've gathered over the years into one place is bound to be helpful to someone else out there.  

So, here is my guide to growing your very own salsa garden in Texas. We will be focusing on tomatoes, peppers, and cilantro.
