Crazy Texas Crash That Unleashed A Fortune In Dimes

WISE COUNTY, Texas- A crash Tuesday morning left millions of shiny new dimes scattered across the roadway, shutting down traffic in the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 287 for the majority of the day.

According to TDPS, an 18-wheeler hauling a load of fresh dimes veered off the road, overcorrected, and then overturned around 5:30 in the morning near a high school. The dimes went flying through the air and all over the road.

The driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital and treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
