Texas Businesses Reign Supreme In Top 100 Retailers List 2024

Texas and business go hand-in-hand, especially when we look at domestic sales numbers.

The National Retailers Federation compiled a list of the top retailers of 2024 and Texas took eleven of the top 100 spots.

It's interesting, and revealing, which retailers thrived despite the challenges of recent years- from consumers changing their spending habits to logistic difficulties and other issues caused by a post-pandemic world.

7-11, for instance, took a quite respectable #20 spot for domestic sales, which only accounts for about a third of their worldwide sales. 7-11 dominates here and even more overseas.

Taking the number 1 spot overall should be no surprise- it's Wal-Mart. However, a Texas-based grocer took the #18 spot and promises even more growth in the years to come.
