Lubbock's Lemonade Day was established in 2012 by Charlie and Kate Hamilton to teach local children valuable life lessons like, "how to set a goal, find an investor, make a plan and a budget, select a location, work really hard, provide good customer service and make a profit." according to Lubbock Lemonade Day.

Now, Lemonade Day in Lubbock is led by a who's who of area business people who serve on the board of directors for the event.

When Does Lemonade Day Kick Off In Lubbock For 2025?

Lubbock Lemonade Day will officially kick off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 3rd at Market Street on 98th and Quaker. Throughout the day and all across the city, kids will be selling lemonade and other items, so have a little cash on you to show your support!

How Do Lubbock Area Children Participate in Lemonade Day?

In the weeks leading up to this weekend's event, kids from all over town have "registered, attended workshops, planned their stands, prepared their menus, and more to ensure they are prepared for sweet success from owning and operating their own business," according to a press release by Lubbock Lemonade Day.
