I'm not a massive fan of dealing with snowy weather after living the majority of my adult life in Minnesota.  It was TERRIBLE. I used to wake up extra early during the winter months there just in case I had to jump my frozen battery or shovel my driveway before work. It seriously sucked, but, it also made me grateful for the nice winter months in Texas when I returned. We have it made here.

One Texas city is more likely than every other to have a white Christmas. It's not far from us here in Lubbock, but sometimes the weather is alarmingly different. While we do get the occasional snow dump, this city has had us and the rest of Texas beat since 1892.

Do you know the city?

If you're looking for a white Christmas in Texas, consider celebrating the holiday in Amarillo, because that's where you're the most likely to experience snow. It gets crazy up there sometimes! Amarillo has seen a whopping 21 white Christmas mornings since 1892.

Lubbock comes in second on the list of places you're most likely to see snow on Christmas, followed by Midland, Wichita Falls, and Dallas.

If a snowy Christmas morning just isn't your thing, and you'd prefer to avoid it at all costs, San Antonio, Austin, and Houston have never had measurable snow on Christmas day, and are probably your best bet.

Is it snowing in your area of Texas today? Show me a photo in the comment section below this article. I'd love to see what you guys are working with! Then, keep scrolling for more Texas-based news in the galleries below...
