Levelland resident, Brandi Tadlock, came across some screws on the ground in a high-traffic parking lot. She didn't think much of it at first and decided to pick them up, only to find there were way more than just a few. There were dozens. She's a good samaritan and grabbed as many as she could find, but worried that there were probably even more that she missed.

She wondered if they might have been put there intentionally, as they were grouped together, rather than scattered. She said the screws were poured out in a long skinny line.

She told FMX:

"I spotted one of the tiny ones and noticed a lot of the others as I bent down to grab it. I walked over and got my magnetic bracelet out of my car after that because I was parked like 10 ft away from them."

She says she found the screws in the parking lot on the north side of Highway 114, and that it's a popular parking lot because it's the shopping center in front of Walmart. You'd drive through it to get to places like Domino's and the AT&T store.

She said in total, she actually found 60 screws. She said the tiny black ones were probably the most dangerous because she couldn't actually see them until she got really close. They blended in with the pavement.

Did someone's toolbox just spill open somehow? Or is something more sinister afoot? Who knows. In the meantime, you might want to avoid that area.

Thanks, Brandi, for going out of your way to pick up as many as you could!
