I-27 and Loop 289 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled

Overnight lane closures are scheduled along Interstate 27 next week.

TxDOT crews will replace large overhead guide signs along the I-27 main lanes and frontage roads, as well as the Loop 289 frontage roads in Lubbock.

Crews will close various lanes to traffic overnight from Monday, April 21^st through Thursday, April 24^th.

The closures will begin at 7 p.m. each evening, and lanes will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. each morning.

TxDOT contractor Highway Intelligent Traffic Systems, will remove and replace large overhead guide signs along the roadways.

Motorists are urged to slow down and watch out for construction crews.
