Gas prices in Lubbock fall again in Lubbock.

According to this week’s KFYO News Gas Price Survey, the average price of retail unleaded gas dropped 10 cents to $3.26 per gallon. Lubbock continues to outpace fuel prices than the rest of the state. AAA Texas reports the average fuel price is $3.53, a drop of four cents from last week.

The highest average for fuel in the Lone Star State is in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with prices at $3.62. The lowest average price is in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area at $3.39 per gallon. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas Survey.

Other AAA Texas Cities in the survey:

Amarillo: $3.43

Austin/San Marcos: $3.48

El Paso: $3.44

Houston: $3.55

The national AAA average for fuel also made a significant drop. The national average dropped a nickel from $3.69 to $3.64.
