Gas Prices Drop in Lubbock, Rise in Texas

Gas prices in Lubbock fall for the fourth consecutive week. According the weekly KFYO News Gas Price Survey the average price for regular unleaded gas in Lubbock is $3.36 per gallon.

That is a drop of seven cents from last week’s survey. Statewide averages weren’t as favorable as AAA Texas reports prices at $3.57 per gallon, an increase of three cents last week.

The most expensive gas in Fort Worth at $3.68 per gallon and the least expensive in Beaumont at $3.44 per gallon. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas survey.

The national average sits higher than Texas and Lubbock with prices at $3.69. AAA reports that every driver in the United States, except in North Dakota, pay more at the pump than they did this time last year.
