Democrat Lt. Governor Candidate Maria Luisa Alvarado to Hold Lubbock Meet and Greet

A Democrat candidate for Texas lieutenant governor will be in Lubbock on Saturday.

Maria Luisa Alvarado will hold a meet and greet on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union No. 629 Union Hall, located at 20^th Street and Avenue J.

Alvarado served in the United States Air Force from 1974 until 1980, and was the first female crew chief at Castle AFB in California.
