Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Lubbock County Republican Party Chairman Carl Tepper joined the show to discuss last night's (January 12, 2016) Faith and Family Debate between all nine Republican candidates for Congressional District 19 Representative. The event was hosted by pastor Jeff McCreight at Rock City Church.

Questions, most concerning the federal government's role in religion, family, moral values, and constitutional rights, were posed to the candidates by Chad Hasty, host of KFYO's The Chad Hasty Show, and the debate was moderated by both Hasty and Tepper. Each candidate was given the same amount of time to answer each question.

Republican candidates for the District 19th Congressional position (being vacated by Randy Neugebauer) are: Glen Robertson, Donald May, Jason Corley, John Key, Greg Garrett, Michael Bob Starr, Don Parrish, DeRenda Warren, and Jodey Arrington. The Republican Primary election will be held March 1, 2016.

A very large crowd of citizens was present to watch the debate, and afterward the candidates held a meet and greet with voters.

Hasty and Tepper discussed the overall debate as well as went into detail about specific questions and candidate's answers to the many tough questions that were asked.
