The Texas Tech School of Law will host a Supreme Court- related speech on Friday.

William K. Suter, clerk of the Supreme Court of the United States, will speak at noon on September 23  at the Lanier Auditorium.  The speech is open to the public and there is no cost for attendance.  Parking for the event will be in the School of Law’s R21 parking lot.

Suter is the 19th clerk of the Supreme Court and he has held the position since 1991.  Suter’s responsibilities include managing the Supreme Court’s calendar, overseeing the Supreme Court Bar, and attending all of its oral arguments.

Suter’s speech, “Supreme Court Report” has been approved by the Texas State Bar for 3-quarter hours (0.75) of continuing legal education credit.
