A local museum will take part in an area monthly tradition.

The Buddy Holly Center will participate in Lubbock’s First Friday Art Trail on December 2nd from 6 to 9 p.m. The Center will be open free of charge, and will provide free refreshments and a cash bar.

The exhibit “Influenced” is on display in the Buddy Holly Center Fine Arts Gallery. Influenced is a national invitational exhibition, organized by the Texas Tech School of Art Ceramics department. The work of graduate students Bruce Alves, Kara Frank, Adam Redd, and Zach Tate, as well as Professors Juan Granados and Von Venhuizen are featured in the exhibition, in addition to nationally recognized ceramicists.

The exhibit “If Walls Could Talk” is also on display in the Texas Musicians Hall of Fame, which features messages from survivors of breast cancer and others affected by the disease.
