Work on Railroad Crossing in Gaines County to Stretch Into Next Week

Work on a railroad crossing at an area highway will continue through next week.

The project to re-plank the railroad crossing located just north of Seagraves will continue through Monday, February 3^rd.

North and southbound US 385/62, just west of County Road 113 in Gaines County, will continue to be closed to traffic over the weekend and into Monday. According to TxDOT, traffic is being detoured via Old Seagraves Road.

The crossing repair work began on Wednesday, January 2^nd, and will take place weather permitting.
