Woman Pleads Guilty for Stealing Thousands from Lubbock ISD

A Lubbock woman has pleaded guilty for stealing nearly $500,000 dollars from a local school district.

KAMC 28 reports Tina Wipff and her husband Russell Wipff were indicted for stealing $446,000 dollars from Lubbock ISD. Both husband and wife were employees of Sodexo, the company contracted for maintenance in the district.

LISD officials believed the couple was billing the district for electronics and turning around selling on websites, such as E-Bay.

Russell Wipff is expected to enter a plea next week.
