Windstream Communications 911 Service Down in Tahoka, Post, and Wilson

Windstream communications is currently experiencing a telephone outage in three area communities.

Those with Windstream phone service in Tahoka, Post, and Wilson are currently unable to dial 911 for emergency services, or use long-distance services. Users are still able to make local calls.

Windstream is currently trying to determine the cause of the outage, and does not yet have a time frame for services to return to normal.

Anyone with an emergency is urged to contact their local authorities.
