Yesterday, President Obama laid out his plan to tackle guns. The plan included 23 executive actions and a plan for Congress to pass an assault weapons ban. You would think that with all the attention this has drawn, more Americans would think new laws would prevent tragedies. However, according to a new TIME/CNN poll, only 39% of Americans think the new laws would stop gun violence.
