The 16th GOP Debate was held last night on FOX News, and the gloves really came off this time. The debate started by spending about 15 minutes or so on Mitt Romney and Bain Capital. Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum were able to land some good punches on the front-runner, but Romney was able to fire back and hold his own. Throughout the evening it seemed as though Newt Gingrich received the most applause breaks and at one point even got a standing ovation for his line about President Obama being a "food stamp President". Rick Perry came across as the outsider in the race and even connected a bit with the audience when talking about the Feds war on South Carolina. Ron Paul tried to drive home his foreign policy ideas, but it didn't go over real well with the audience when the discussion turned to killing bin Laden.

We will discuss this topic on Lubbock's First News this morning, but we want to know who you think won the GOP Debate last night.
